Developed Fantasy is a place where you can find stories written by Jari Winberg. The stories are released under Creative Commons licence so you can freely enjoy them.
There are few people who have shown that the current copyright system is failing to do what is supposed to do and that content would be created even without the outdated copyright laws.
Lawrence Lessig, a professor of law at Stanford Law School, has given several good presentations about the issue, like Keynote at Call + Response Conference.
Matt Mason, the author of The Pirate's Dilemma, has shown how piracy has been good for development through the history.
Michele Boldrin and David K. Levine, the authors of Against Intellectual Monopoly, have studied how the intellectual property is harming innovation and creation.
The Pirate Party is fighting against the insanity of anti-piracy actions on political level.
Mike Masnick at TechDirt has written several excellent articles, like The Grand Unified Theory On The Economics Of Free, to explain that it doesn't make sense to be strict about your copyright. More money is to be made if the content is set free.
The people mentioned above have shown that intellectual property laws needs to be changed. This is not only my contribution to that goal but I also believe that publishing stories this way is better for me. The old school publishing doesn't interest me that much.
Am I lucky enough to find readers and good enough writer to keep the readers entertained? That is to be seen. If you like what you read here, please feel free to support me by joining the fan club.
